Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) are wall, roof and floor panels of varying sizes composed of insulated cores sandwiched between outer panels skins. The skins are most commonly oriented strand board material, but will often be manufactured with alternative options such as fiber cement board or steel. SIPs are systematically attached to one another to meet high wind resistance.
